MEMBERSHIP IN MICHIGAN CHEESE MAKERS COOPERATIVE (MCMC)

Cheese Makers are voting members who are licensed, Michigan-based cheese making companies who utilize Michigan milk.  Approval of membership is subject to MCMC Board approval.

Initial membership:

$500

Annual dues for 2012:

$250 payable Oct 28, 2011 through Jan. 1, 2012

Cheese Mongers are non-voting members who are restaurants or retail stores actively involved in the sale or consumption of Cooperative Members cheese.

• Supply of promotional materials

• MCMC newsletter

• Invitations to events

• Advance notification of new products

Membership:

Initial fee $200.

Annual dues $100.

Cheese Lovers are non-voting members who support the MCMC’s dedication to the promotion and advancement of Michigan cheese.

Benefits:

• Membership card that allows a 5% discount at participating MCMC  creameries and farm markets

• Invitations to events

• MCMC newsletter

Annual dues:  $10

Annual dues + 1 T-shirt:  $25

Each additional T-shirt:  $15
